Transportation
Toca-Toca
The cheapest way to travel through Bissau and the surrounding areas is with the Toca-Toca. It is a minivan with capacity for 20 passengers, which stops at any time whenever people ask to enter or leave.
Taxis
Other more traditional transportation options such as taxis and city buses are also available. Taxis in Bissau are easy identifiable. There are mostly Mercedes painted in blue and white. It’s also important to note that in Bissau taxis are collective, they stop to pick up and to drop off other passengers in a shared ride. Within the city, the fare won’t go far beyond 250 to 1 000 CFA.
Sept-places & Candonga
