What documents do you need to visit Guinea-Bissau?
The procedures, as well as the costs of obtaining a visa, depend on the nationality of the traveller and the point of issue of the visa. A visa can be applied to the Embassy or Consulate of Guinea-Bissau that is closest to your locality. The visa application requires sending a photograph and filling out a form. And it is necessary that the passport has a validity longer than six months.
With the exception of nationals of the Economic Community of West African States(ECOWAS), all visitors need a visa.
Visa-Free Nationalities: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Ivory Coast, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea Conakry, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Togo.
Nacionalities subject to visa: Nationals from all other countries must obtain a visa at embassies, or on arrival at Osvaldo Vieira Airport, in Bissau-Bissalanca.
