Flamingos Beach
With the exception of the local fishermen, Melo Island has no fixed inhabitants and is surrounded by beaches that can only be reached on foot or by boat, just like the other beaches.
Flamingos beach is the most famous of them, with white sand, blue waters and plenty of fish that call the attention of local fishermen.
You can also see several sea birds and migratory birds to admire and also make beautiful photos of your trip!
You can visit the beach during your visit to the Cantanhez Natural Park or you can rent an all-terrain to explore the southern part of the country.
